Ben Slimane Royal Golf Club
A lake. An immense lake inhabited by perch and ducks
stretches the length of the golf course. Hundred-year-old cork oaks, pine
trees, eucalyptus and pastures that abound with flowers grow here as
freely as if they were growing in English parklands. ![]() Five holes are dominated by water, a powerful
element in the hands of an architect like David Coen. Especially the
eighth, a par 3 of 180 meters which requires a high degree of calm mastery
to reach the green, situated on a charming little island planted with
papyrus. At the ninth - and final hole, if your ball has strayed into the
shrubbery on the left you might meet a few small snails, the emblem of the
club. |
